This four day workshop is designed to provide an installer with everything they need to install the Safety Shield Human Form Recognition (G4) system – it is a mix of classroom and practical sessions where the learner experiences all elements of fitting the Safety Shield system.

Our Human Form Recognition training is Assured by City & Guilds, giving you confidence that your teams are trained to a recognised industry standard. By building certified in-house installation teams, businesses can improve installation efficiency, reduce reliance on external contractors, and maintain consistent quality across every project. The course can be seamlessly integrated into existing fitting protocols, making it easy to add Human Form Recognition installation to current workflows. It also supports efficient fleet-wide rollouts and Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) programmes, helping organisations deliver faster, more consistent installations at scale.

Pre-Requisities
To ensure delegates are well prepared for the course, we carry out a pre-course assessment to confirm suitability and capability. This assessment helps identify whether participants have the knowledge and skills needed to successfully complete the training. The pre-requisites for the workshop are as follows:
Good working knowledge of plant and machinery
Good understanding of the English language, as are all training materials, such as workbooks, handouts and examination documentation are written in English
Good working knowledge of A/C, D/C electrical components on plant and machinery
Be proficient in using multiple hand tools to conduct works, including panel removal and fixing components to the machinery
Be in good physical health, as installations require learners to be able to climb and bend to access all areas of the machinery during servicing and maintaining
Meeting these prerequisites will help delegates gain the maximum benefit from the training and apply their learning effectively in the workplace.

How long is the certification last for?
The certification validity is 24 months when recertification is required. Each successful delegate will receive an individual Safety Shield fitter number and will gain access to Safety Shield installation software.
Where is the delivery of the programme?
The programme will be delivered at a Safety Shield training centre or approved partner facilities
What is required to deliver the programme?
As the programme is a mix of classroom and practical, we need to ensure there is a classroom available and an area for practical with at least 2 machines fitted with Safety Shield.
